For years I have intended to crochet a poppy but have never got round to it. This year, though, I finally managed it. In fact, I made another one for my mother-in-law as well.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
"Never got round to it." Not sure if you intended the play on words, but it made me giggle.
ReplyDeleteVery nice [round] poppy. I do like crocheted flowers.
It was unintentional!
DeleteLove the poppy. I mean to get around to it as well. Next year perhaps.

Beautiful Poppy.

We must never forget all those who lost their lives, the display at the Tower of London puts it in to perspective just how many there were. Love the poppy, I keep meaning to knit or crochet one myself but haven't got round to it again, perhaps next year.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Gillian! I wish I had your talent! IF you saw my crochet it would have you in stitches! I hope you're having a great weekend!

Have me in stitches! Do you realise how funny that is?
DeleteA very good way to remember indeed. xx
ReplyDeleteWe shall never forget.

So sweet poppy, and you can enjoy all winter too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture, good Monday.
LOvely .
ReplyDeleteIf left alone with crochet needles, I'd probably poke an eye out. I require dull instruments and supervision. ;o) It's Veteran's Day and my husband is a vet, as is my cousin and my late father. We never forget here. Beautiful poppy.
ReplyDeleteLovely poppy
