Remembering

For years I have intended to crochet a poppy but have never got round to it. This year, though, I finally managed it. In fact, I made another one for my mother-in-law as well.

  1. "Never got round to it." Not sure if you intended the play on words, but it made me giggle.

Very nice [round] poppy. I do like crocheted flowers.

  5. We must never forget all those who lost their lives, the display at the Tower of London puts it in to perspective just how many there were. Love the poppy, I keep meaning to knit or crochet one myself but haven't got round to it again, perhaps next year.

  8. If left alone with crochet needles, I'd probably poke an eye out. I require dull instruments and supervision. ;o) It's Veteran's Day and my husband is a vet, as is my cousin and my late father. We never forget here. Beautiful poppy.
