The Amaryllis

Just a very quick post to let you see my amaryllis. It has flowered and is gorgeous.

 This was what it was like yesterday; two flowers blooming and one bud still to open.




Early this morning, with bright sunlight streaming in, I found that the third flower had bloomed.

Then, just a few hours later, when the rain had started, this is what it looked like.


I love it!

    That flower is stunning. I thought that normally they flower at Christmas time, so you are very lucky to get three flowers now I think.

    That really is beautiful. I bought one that shade for Christmas and it turned out to be a plain dark red flower instead! You must have green fingers to have such a perfect plant! :-)

    Your amaryllis is very pretty. I've never had a striped one, only plain red or white. I'll have to look for one like yours.
